About
The Remnants exhibit is a collaboration between Artist Amie Brownfield and Poet Troy Schoultz.

The origins of this project stemmed from Amie’s collections of old photographs and found objects. She started pairing photographs with objects that seemed to ‘fit’ together and fashioned a brief narrative of who these people may have been and what significance the paired objects may have had to them. Upon showing her first pieces to Troy, he was inspired to write about each one and the concept grew into approximately 25 pieces of art and accompanying poems.

The stories, names, characters, and incidents portrayed in these images and poems are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred.
